Security has always been a priority for GrandView. Rovisys uses it to store all of the information necessary to run our company--and so do our users--so it's imperative that we have as secure a system as possible. To that end, we follow many of the best practices recommended throughout the industry. Among them:
- No data is ever sent across the wire unencrypted
- We use industry-standard 128-bit SSL
- Passwords must be strong
- Passwords must meet complexity requirements including length, not containing user's name, and must contain more than just letters
- All password-related communications are sent to a personal e-mail address configured by the user (or a Project Manager at Rovisys)
- If the user loses access to this e-mail address, the user's identity must be positively confirmed by a Rovisys Project Manager
While no security system is perfect, we strive to make GrandView as secure as possible given today's technologies and procedures. And, we've passed many stringent security audits to prove it. Rest assured, that as the next security threat rears its head, the GrandView development team will rise to meet it. That should give any GrandView user peace of mind.
