Keep Projects on Time and Budget

Whether your role on a project is that of a designer, an implementer, or a project manager, chances are that you have a stake in project tasks. We have taken simple TimeSheet functionality which enables task charging and expanded it to provide a powerful tool for project managers. From the configuration of project tasks to the analysis of the current status of the tasks, GrandView has you covered. Project managers have the ability to enable project task analysis on their projects to track chargeable tasks to make sure they are on time and budget. Durations and forecasted hours for project tasks can be specified. This information is integrated with and made available in TimeSheet data entry in the form of task due dates and hours remaining. More importantly, TimeSheet users can mark tasks as complete so that the project manager is aware of the current status of a task.

It all comes together in a project task analysis data view where project managers can clearly see the status of their project tasks and then make the necessary adjustments to ensure the information is as accurate as possible. Project task analysis is ultimately geared towards project managers but anyone who charges time to a project can share in the information that it provides. Like so many other features in GrandView, project task analysis distributes the information and the workload to the right people so that correct information is captured and well-informed decisions can be made.
